About LMents Yoga

The focus of LMents Yoga is on harnessing the power of yoga to assist you in living your life to the fullest. Yoga nourishes the body, mind, and soul; its an inherently holistic approach to wellness for all elements of your being. Together, we can find ways for yoga to help you brave all the elements of your everyday life. I love to move, and it would be an honour to help you discover how you love to move!

Check out my Schedule page for upcoming classes and workshops. I’m also available for private sessions, birthday parties, bachelorettes, or other functions. Contact me (below) to discuss how we can work together to integrate yoga into your life.

About Lindsay Morris

Lindsay graduated from the BA Honours program in International Development at the University of Guelph in 2012 and completed her joint MA in Dance and MBA in Social Sector Management at York University in 2016. Lindsay started dancing when she was 4 and has been supporting social justice causes since the age of 7, but has only recently discovered the ways in which these two passions can be combined. In 2011, Lindsay choreographed and helped to stage the first interracial performance in Maun, Botswana; in 2013, she spent a summer at the Sankofa Center in Accra, Ghana, which uses traditional dance as an educational method for HIV/AIDS prevention; and in 2015, she completed her MA research in Freetown, Sierra Leone with Lifeline Nehemiah Projects, where she ran a therapeutic dance program for children who were orphaned by the Ebola epidemic.

Lindsay works full-time at Windmill Microlending, an organization that serves internationally trained professionals. She earned her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate through YYoga Toronto in December 2017 and is excited to weave yoga more fully into her life, both in the studio and off the mat.

Additional qualifications: YHot Certification through YYoga Toronto, Barre Certification through Barreworks, and Standard First Aid & CPR through Toronto CPR.
